A sumptuous platter that’s perfect for a five star seafood feast.
All our crab and lobster are caught the traditional way, in pots from the nutrient rich waters around Portland Bill. When you’ve got world-renowned seafood on your doorstep, why would you ever go anywhere else?
Langoustines have always been a prized Scottish catch. We source only prime, North Atlantic langoustines, landed at Peterhead and shipped to Weymouth the next day.
We source, sustainable, giant, wild-caught prawns from Argentina, supplemented on occasion by high quality, farmed South East Asian prawns.
Our fresh whelks are locally caught and landed, then cooked and picked on the premises. Anchovies are sourced from a variety of sustainable providers dependent on season.

There are hundreds of delicious recipes to make with picked crab and lobster, from salads, pastas and risotto to lobster thermidor and even lobster mac and cheese. But to make the most of the flavour. we recommend keeping it simple: crab sandwiches, with white and brown meat, cucumber, mayonnaise, pepper and malt vinegar; and lobster rolls, a brioche bun, lemon mayonnaise, melted butter, and a pinch cayenne pepper.
Langoustine tails and prawns are great in pastas and salads too, or just dipped in some mayonnaise with chunks of rough, farmhouse bread.
As an appetizer, versatile whelks go famously well sprinkled with malt vinegar, but you can also try them warmed through with parsley and garlic butter.
They may be little, but our anchovies pack a whole lot of flavour. Add them to Cesar salads, pasta dishes and pizzas, or just enjoy them as a salty snack – perfect on a cocktail stick.
Cooked crab and lobster meat and whelks can be stored in the fridge, between 0ºC-5ºC, and eaten within 2-3 days. If you don’t plan to eat within 3 days, then freeze on day of delivery and eat within 3 months. Do not refreeze.
Langoustine tails and prawns should be stored in the fridge between 0ºC-5ºC and eaten within 2-3 days but are not suitable for home freezing.
Anchovies should also be stored in the fridge between 0ºC-5ºC and should be eaten within 4 days.
