Our kippers are made the traditional way: whole fresh herring, butterflied, salt-cured and cold-smoked over smouldering oak chips, for a soft, inviting texture and a wonderful, rich, salt-smoke flavour.

A pack of our kipper fillets will have a minimum weight of 220g.

But kippers can also be a delicious ingredient. Experiment with pâtés, fishcakes and fish pies, or even serve with pasta.

Store in the fridge between 0ºC-5ºC, and eat within 2-3 days.

Did you know?

Kippering is a verb that means to preserve by rubbing with salt or other spices before drying in the open air or in smoke. So any meat or fish preserved in the same fashion can actually be called kippered.
