 A prawn swims by pulling its stomach in and out. This motion shoots it through the water. But because of their body configuration, it also means prawns can only swim backwards.
Description

To save you the trouble, we’ve peeled these succulent, juicy prawns for you. Wild-caught and frozen at source in Argentina, they’re plump and delicious, versatile to cook with and delicious in so many different ways. Prawns are also a healthy choice and a great source of low-fat protein.

Our peeled and deveined prawns are available per 250g.

Origin

Whenever available, we source, sustainable, wild-caught prawns from Argentina, supplemented on occasion by high quality, farmed South East Asian prawns.

Cooking and Storage

Shell-off, these prawns are ripe and ready to be added to fish stews, curries or stir fries. Or just enjoy them on their own with some garlic mayonnaise.

They’re perfect for a prawn cocktail. Pile some on top of a salad of little gem lettuce and cucumber, pour on plenty of Marie Rosé sauce, serve with lemon and sprinkle of chives.

Best eaten immediately.

Store in the fridge between 0ºC-5ºC, and eat within 2-3 days.

Do not refreeze.
